Personalised Pet Memorial Stones, Deep Engraved by Hand
Some goodbyes need a place to go. A pet memorial stone gives you one: a quiet spot in the garden, beside their resting place or on a windowsill, where their name stays with you. Each stone is a natural river stone sourced from around South Africa and deep-engraved by hand in our Midrand workshop.
What we engrave
- Your pet’s name
- Date of birth and date of passing
- One symbol of your choice: angel wings, angel hearts, dove, paw, paws, bone, heart, hearts, sun or star
About the stone
Every stone is chosen by hand, so colour, shape and texture vary. That’s part of what makes yours one of a kind. The stone measures roughly 100 × 90 mm, with an engraved area of about 70 × 50 mm. Engraving is cut up to 6 mm deep (depth varies slightly with each type of stone), so it won’t fade or wash away.
Made for the garden
Natural stone handles South African sun, rain and frost. Place it flat on soil, gravel or a paving slab, and wipe it with a damp cloth now and then to keep the engraving crisp.

Frequently asked questions
Can I see the design before it’s engraved?
Yes. You’ll receive a digital proof by email on the same working day, and we only engrave once you’ve approved it.
Will the engraving fade outdoors?
No. The lettering is cut into the stone rather than printed on it, so it’s made to last outdoors for years.
Can I choose the colour of my stone?
Each stone is a natural river stone, so we can’t guarantee a specific colour or tone. No two are alike, and yours will be completely unique.
Can I add a personal message?
This stone is sized for your pet’s name, dates and a symbol. For a longer message, see our Sandstone Grave Marker or Granite Grave Markers.
How much is delivery?
